Starting a blog entry can be a daunting task, especially when you’re unsure of how to begin. But I believe that sharing our experiences can be a powerful way to connect with others and gain new insights. As I reflect on the past year, I know that many people would consider 2020 to be the worst year ever. However, I refuse to view it that way. I believe that every hardship and challenge we face is an opportunity for growth and learning. Of course, that doesn’t mean that I haven’t struggled. There have been times when I’ve felt overwhelmed, scared, and uncertain. But through it all, I’ve learned to trust in a higher power and surrender my worries to Him. This has been my ultimate source of strength and comfort. I’ve also had to deal with people who seem determined to bring me down. It’s easy to get angry and lash out in those situations, but I’ve found that responding with love and forgiveness is a more powerful way to diffuse the situation. Ultimately, I believe that we have the power to choose how we respond to the challenges we face. And with faith and love, we can overcome even the most difficult of circumstances.

Over the past few months, I’ve experienced a range of emotions. At times, it’s felt like I’ve been on a rollercoaster with unexpected twists and turns. There have been moments of pure joy and excitement, where my energy is infectious, and times when all I want is to retreat into my own thoughts and feel safe in my own space. It can be challenging to navigate these highs and lows, but I’m learning to embrace the journey and all the emotions that come with it. Even when I’m feeling down, I know that I have the strength within me to persevere and overcome any obstacle. And when I’m feeling happy and energized, I try to share that positivity with those around me, spreading joy and kindness wherever I go. It’s all about finding balance and staying true to myself, even when the world around me feels chaotic and uncertain.

What made me sad…

Last August, I lost my closest grandma to an unusual circumstance. She died from food poisoning, not COVID-19. I know that food poisoning is usually not fatal, but my grandma was elderly and had other health conditions. The pandemic made it difficult for her to get the medical attention she needed. She was afraid to go to the hospital because she didn’t want to be tested for COVID-19. She was worried that if she tested positive, she would be isolated from her family and friends. My grandma died at home, with her youngest son by her side. We were able to attend her burial because she was not a COVID-19 patient.

Her death was a shock to our family. We were all very close to her, and we will miss her dearly.

Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy, but I was grateful for the opportunity to do so at my grandmother’s burial. As I stood there, I couldn’t help but think of the saying, “God is good all the time.” It was comforting to be surrounded by family, many of whom I hadn’t seen in months due to quarantine restrictions. Despite the discomfort of wearing masks and face shields for hours on end, we all understood the importance of keeping each other safe. In the end, I walked away from the experience feeling nostalgic yet happy, and I was reminded of the beauty of life.

I was happy even though I had lost my grandma. I still got to see the beauty of life. I want to share this beautiful paragraph from Luke Lezon:

Remember that it’s perfectly normal not to feel okay sometimes. However, it’s important not to get stuck on things that are beyond your control. There is always hope, and miracles can happen. God has the power to transform our lives from chaos to something beautiful. He encourages us to reach out to Him in prayer and ask for His help. As Jesus said, “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Death is the word of the year. It seems like every day we hear about someone else who has passed away. COVID-19 has taken a heavy toll on our world, but it’s not the only cause of death. People are dying from other causes too, and it’s a reminder that life is precious and fragile.

I was shocked to hear that one of our schoolmates passed away from a cardiac arrest while giving birth. She was so young, and it’s a reminder that death can happen to anyone, at any time. It’s also a reminder of the importance of living life to the fullest. We never know when our time will come, so we should make the most of every day.

Life is unpredictable and full of uncertainty. We can’t control the future, but we can control how we live our lives today. We can choose to be kind, compassionate, and helpful. We can choose to make a difference in the world. And we can choose to live our lives in a way that honors God.

I have mastered the art of living life each day as if it’s my last. I do everything in the glory of God. I know that I can’t control the future, but I can control how I live my life today. And that’s all that matters.

I too was deeply saddened by the passing of Lloyd Cadena. His kind and selfless nature was truly inspiring, and I’ve decided to follow in his footsteps by spreading kindness to others during my road trips. His energy and sense of humor brought so much joy to my life, and I know he will be missed by many. I can’t count the number of times he made me laugh with his vlogs, and I always looked forward to his new uploads. Although it’s difficult to come to terms with the loss of someone we love, I find solace in my faith and trust in God. It’s true that everything happens for a reason, even if we may not understand it at the time. I offer my deepest sympathies to Lloyd’s family and friends, and to anyone else who has lost someone dear to them. We may never fully comprehend why things happen the way they do, but we can find comfort in knowing that brighter days are ahead.

It’s touching to hear about Lloyd Cadena’s love for Mariah Carey. It’s amazing how music has the power to heal and bring back memories of loved ones. It’s clear that Lloyd touched the lives of many and his memory will continue to be cherished by his family and friends. Through his humor and kindness, he inspired others to spread joy and goodness in the world. Lloyd, thank you for your positive impact on so many lives. You will always be remembered and loved. ♥️🙏🏻

Let go and let God

It’s true that life is full of uncertainties and challenges that we often can’t comprehend. Sometimes, it’s easy to blame the year or external factors for our misfortunes, but the reality is that we don’t always have control over what happens to us. During these difficult times, it’s important to turn to faith and trust in a higher power. Just like Job from the Bible, who overcame immense struggles and hardships by putting his faith in God, we too can find strength and solace in our beliefs. Trusting in God can provide us with a sense of peace and comfort, even when things seem difficult. Let us find hope and inspiration in the stories of those who have overcome adversity through their faith.

14-15 When I think of the wisdom and scope of his plan, I fall down on my knees and pray to the Father of all the great family of God—some of them already in heaven and some down here on earth— 16 that out of his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you the mighty inner strengthening of his Holy Spirit. 17 And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts, living within you as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love; 18-19 and may you be able to feel and understand, as all God’s children should, how long, how wide, how deep, and how high his love really is; and to experience this love for yourselves, though it is so great that you will never see the end of it or fully know or understand it. And so at last you will be filled up with God himself.

20 Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of—infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes.

Ephesians 3:14-20

My sincerest hope and prayer is that we will all be able to come together next year, after having weathered this trying time with the help of God. Let us have faith and trust in His plan and know that with His guidance and strength, we can overcome any obstacle. May we all find comfort and solace in our beliefs, and may our faith provide us with the hope and inspiration we need to persevere through these challenges. Remember, we are never alone when we have God by our side. 🙏🏻
