I’ve been on bed rest for almost a week now, but I’m not giving up

I’ve been on bed rest for almost a week now, suffering from vertigo. It’s been tough not being able to walk or do the things I usually do. But my faith is strong, and I know I’ll be alright again.

I’m grateful that our community had a mobile clinic scheduled just when I needed it. The doctor was able to check my condition and give me some medication. He said that it will take a while for the medication to work, but I’m confident that I’ll be back to my old self soon.

In the meantime, I’m trying to stay positive and focus on my recovery. My best friend has been amazing, taking care of me and doing all the chores around the house. She’s also been cooking delicious meals for me, which has been a huge help.

I know that I’m not the only one who’s struggling with sickness. There are so many people who are going through tough times right now. But I want to remind you that you’re not alone. We’re all in this together.

Let’s keep praying for each other and for our health. Let’s also remember to focus on the things that are important in life. Our faith, our family, and our friends. These are the things that will get us through the tough times.

I’ll be back soon, cooking, dancing, cleaning, planting, and walking. In the meantime, I’m sending you all my love and prayers.

What I’ve been eating

I’m thankful to my bestfriend for doing almost all the chores in the house. She’s also been cooking for me, and her food is delicious! I’ve been taking pictures of my meals, even though I’m not really in the mood to take pictures. Dizziness is real.

I would also like to commend my bestfriend for her patience with me when I’m feeling petty due to my sickness. She’s always there to remind me that things will get better soon, and that I have a lot to look forward to. Sometimes I feel down, and I’m not sure if it’s because of my sickness. I’m a happy person, but sometimes it just gets to me. The one thing that I’m looking forward to is our church at home day. It makes me happy to be able to talk to God and praise Him, no matter what. Even in this pandemic and sickness, I can sing praises and hear His words.

Yes, as humans, we tend to get tired and overwhelmed by the things happening around us. Everyone has a lot going on these days, and some days are complex. But we can leave our worries with God, because He cares for us. Let’s draw near to God in prayer.

[I Peter 5:7, Good News Bible] “Leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you.” Just a little reminder to help you get through any tough day.

Lyrics:
The new day dawns
And I am practicing my purpose once again
It is fresh and it is fruitful if I win but if I lose
Oooooo I don’t know
I will be tired but I will turn and I will go
Only guessing till I get there then I’ll know
Oh oh oh I will know

All the children walking home past the factories
Could see the light that’s shining in my window as I write this song to you
All the cars running fast along the interstate
Can feel the love that radiates
Illuminating what I know is true
All will be well
Even after all the promises you’ve broken to yourself
All will be well
You can ask me how but only time will tell

The winter’s cold
But the snow still lightly settles on the trees
And a mess is still a moment I can seize until I know
That all will be well
Even though sometimes this is hard to tell
And the fight is just as frustrating as hell
All will be well

All the children walking home past the factories
Could see the light that’s shining in my window as I write this song to you
All the cars running fast along the interstate
Can feel the love that radiates
Illuminating what I know is true
All will be well
Even after all the promises you’ve broken to yourself
All will be well
You can ask me how but only time will tell

Keep it up and don’t give up
And chase your dreams and you will find
All in time

All the children walking home past the factories
Could see the light that’s shining in my window as I write this song to you
All the cars running fast along the interstate
Can feel the love that radiates
Illuminating what I know is true
All will be well
Even after all the promises you’ve broken to yourself
All will be well
You can ask me how but only time will tell

All will be well
Even after all the promises you’ve broken to yourself
All will be well
You can ask me how but only time will tell

You can ask me how but only time will tell
