Quick and Easy Spicy Pork Bok Choy Recipe by Quiet Coffee
When I'm in a hurry, I turn to my one-pan spicy pork bok choy with veggie recipe. The flavors in this dish are simple but satisfying.
Equipment
- pan
Ingredients
- 1 pound bok choy
- 1 tablespoon vegetable or canola oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced or chopped
- 1 cup finely diced onion
- minced 3/4 pound ground pork
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce I used Kikkoman soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of water
Instructions
- Step 1
- Chop the bok choy. Wash it then set aside.
- Step 2
- Heat a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the oil, once warm add the Garlic and Onion
- Cook for about 1 minute or the garlic turned lightly brown and then add the pork.
- Add 1 tablespoon soy sauce, salt (I used Himalayan salt), and pepper to taste
- Cook for 3-5 minutes or until the pork turned to lightly browned and cooked through.
- Step 3
- Add 1 teaspoon of chili garlic sauce. Cook for a minute, and then add the bok choy. Cook for 1 minute or until the bok choy is tender and slightly wilted. I added some chili flakes to make it spicier. 🙂
